iPad2 Still Nowhere in Sight 20/04/2011
By PWI Reporter Greater China Hong Kong - Last week we reported that the iPad2 would be available in Hong Kong on Apr 11, 2011. As it turned out, the product was not to be found at any Apple dealers. Inquiries to the dealers did not result in any clear reply with the sales staff simply saying that the iPad2 was not available in Hong Kong and no availability date had been announced by Apple. Speculation is ripe that Apple is witholding the iPad2 for sale in Hong Kong due to the unsold inventory of the original iPad. Casual browsing at the Apple Store for Hong Kong shows that four models of the original iPad are still available.
